Hi - On September 14th I quit smoking cigerattes and began to take up running. Since then i have been running every other day. I can run1-2 miles and slowly improving. My question is how soon did you see changes????
This morning I went to put on a pair of work pants and they are too tight. I about flipped!!! I have a 4 & 2 year old and have not worked out in a long time. I see muscle building like crazy...calfs, quads, butt, arms....but I have not lost any weight but gained. I know mucle weighs more then fat but my sister tells me I should be losing weight.....

Gotta remember losing weight starts in the kitchen. If you're taking in more calories than you're burning you will put on weight. Sounds like much of your new weight is coming from muscle but if you really want to burn off the fat you have to eat less calories, that'll cause your body to start burning fat for energy
