Why did you began running? My primary reason was to get rid of all the excessive weight I had put on. At first it was very complicated for me to decide to put on my training suit and running shoes and go to the nearby park knowing that I would have to run for at least half an hour. But as the time passed, I kind of liked training and no matter how exhausting it was, I was always relaxed after running.

I began running because I felt I needed a physical activity. At first I also didn’t like running so I started with a gym. But I felt frustrated surrounded by all those exercising equipment and people who looked like athletes. And I wanted some activity which was not indoors because I already spend a whole day in my office. I wanted to see trees, grass and feel the wind on my face. And what’s better for that from running. So I tried to run and in the beginning it was not my favorite activity. But after a while when the first results appeared and when my belly started flexing, I began to like it and that feeling of exhaustion meant that I tried hard and it would be good for my body.

I originally started runnning to get fit for football during the off season. I loved being in shape and being able to run faster and further than I had before. Then I just got hooked and started pushing myself now I run marathons :) Its funny how you start and how things end up.
