What could be the reasons for swollen breasts only 9 days af

I would really like some feedback BAD. This is a far too common from what I'm reading here. I had unprotected sex where he pulled out and just over a week later I had a FULL menstrual cycle. Sore breasts, horrible cramps through the whole period, migraines, nausea, heavy bleeding. I assumed that was a good sign. My period was done with (thankfully) about 8 or 9 days ago and over the past couple of days I've noticed a significant growth in my breasts. They are tender and heavy. I'm not retaining water or feel bloated. I don't have any other symptoms of pregnancy, but I know it can't be normal to have breast tenderness POSTmenstrual. I only sometimes get it before. I'm starting to wonder if maybe if I quit worrying about it with excess stress, that it just might go away! Any feedback??

To those of you who initially posted this topic years ago, what was the answer? The same thing is happening to me. I'm on Nuvaring, and my boyfriend and I had sex during my period. Now it's a week later and my breasts are swollen and really sore. Is it just stress?

I have this happen at times. I think it is hormones fluctuating, perhaps. Sometimes my breasts swell post ovulation and sometimes prior. It just seems to vary! :-)

Did anyone find out that they were pregnant? I had unprotected sex the day after my period ended- my breasts are very tender and are swollen on the sides. I believe it is too early to even test positive on a pregnancy test. Im not due for my period for another week and a half..

Ok, Im not really looking for answers just someone who can relate to my problem....

Me and my fiance have been having unprotected sex ALOT for the past 2 months. well i came back from las vegas, nv on may 3rd 2011 and we automatically started having sex that night. well 10 dayz later i started my period which wasnt normal that normal becuz it was very light but did have cramping and only lasted for 5 dayz (not normal). usually my periods are heavy and hurt like crazy from the cramps and last 7 dayz. well a week later i started spotting, it came out of no where and didnt hurt at all and was pink wen i wiped but alittle brown on the pad...it was so light that i didnt even wear a tampon which is odd...well a few dayz after the spotting ended my breats were sooooo sore and they felt heavy...that lasted the entire rest of the month..well i was supposed to start on the 11 the of june except this time i started 5 dayz early and it was real light again and didnt have any cramping...the blood was only red for a day or two but the rest was pink and brown...it only lasted til the 12th...well now itz june 21st 2011 and i noticed my breasts are starting to hurt really bad again...before i ignored it but now itz getting to be too hard to ignore....ive taken pregnancy tests but they were before i started bleeding nd they came out neg. but ive had most of the symptoms like exaustion which i had with my first daughter before i found out i was pregnant...and my breasts are very sore and heavy..ive been having wierd little cramps here and there...i had cramping during sex with my fiance...never had that before...i had a sudden change in appetite...i used to eat alot but now im barely ever hungry...im skinny only regularly 107 pounds and its impossible for me to gian wieght and ive gained 7 pounds in the last month alone...yesterday i slept from 2 a.m. til 3:30 in the afternoon...and was tired a few hours later...and my body just havent been feeling like itself....i got the same feeling before i found out i was pregnant with my daughter...i can smell everything like its right under my nose, and ive been nauseous but not to the point where i throw up...ill just gag....so i dont know whats going on...and my doctor wont see me until i know im positive im pregnant...stupid cuz if im not pregnant then i need to know what the hell is going on with my body...

I think that a lot of girls are afraid to get a pregnancy test but really its so much better than stressing about it. The best thing to do is to take a test if it comes up positive make sure you take another one because sometimes it comes up positive when really your not pregnant ( happened to my friend ) but the best thing to do is be calm about if.. if it comes up negative the reason why your breasts were so tender of heavy was probbaly from stress. Stressing about being pregnant can actually control your period and it may be delayed..

Hi, similar thing is happening to me. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex on the first day of my period and 11 days later, my breasts became sore and swollen and I am now filling the C cup bra I have that was a little loose just a few days ago. They've been this way for 5 days now. I've read that this can be due to ovulation, but I don't normally get this, so I'm waiting impatiently to see if I will be getting my period this month. I bought a pregnancy test, but it assumes that one would have conceived on a mid-cycle ovulation and says that the test won't work until the first day the next period is missed. And since this doesn't fit my case, I'm sitting here trawling the internet looking for postings like this one and I'm really glad to have found it.

So... any of you who had this symptom after having sex during your period a year ago turn out to actually be pregnant???

Wow... I am having the same problem i had sex wile and after my period and this is the first moth on the patch i was on BC pills before this tho. I am currently on patch 3 and my brest are getting more sore and more swollen every day. I am not really stressing about pregnancy because i have stresse way to much in the past for nothing so i am just waiting till sunday or next week to get my period.(hopefully) If not i don't know what i would do. If anyone gets any updates please share them. I thought it was just me with this problem but i see that soo many of you guys have the same thing going on which is real weird.

There can be many reasons for breast soreness, and all are normal. If you are concerned, you may want to consider where the soreness is and when it is occurring in your cycle. Apparently it is very normal to have breast soreness around ovulation (which can vary from person to person), but will occur about 12-14 days before your period is due. This type of soreness is usually felt on the sides of the breast. Progesterone is released into the body to prepare the body for pregnancy - your body retains water, and this can be felt in the breasts - but it doesn't mean you are pregnant. If you are pregnant, breast soreness associated with that will not occur until after you miss your period. If you are experiencing soreness is the middle of you cycle, chances are it is related to ovulation.

you guys seriously was anyone pregnant, like same here so this is almost helpful but if you all turned out pregnant then I need to like, die lol soooooo like anyone? For me I'm not on the pill but we were protected and I think it broke and we switched aaand he smokes weed so that means hes less fertile and I feel like theres no way and I'm being SO paranoid but I mean, I'd rather be paranoid than pregnant...buuuut seroiuslty did anyone get pregnant

could somebody finally answer to these aparently insanely common questions because i nearly punched somebody in the face out of the severe pain and distress i was suffering from my swollen boobs that i thought id get rid of as soon as i got my period. just bloody got done with my period 5 days ago and its like the pms never left!!!

It's called ovulation, you can ovulate even a few days after your period, my breasts always hurt the most during ovulation. 

Hi I know you put this post on a while ago but what happened I am have got similar symtoms now but its like the docs don't want to listen as I have seen to
