and the original post:
The past couple of weeks or so, I've been having some sharp pains in my pelvic area, mostly on the left side, but also in the center, milder pains in my upper abdomen, cramping, and the past few days have developed a fluttering feeling, kind of like I'm constantly nervous. Also, I can't lay on my stomach when I sleep, it hurts like I'm laying on a bowling ball. Not to mention, I've only had one period in 7 months and that was the first week of August, and haven't had sex since February, was also checked for STD's in mid August and am clean, so that's not an issue, either.

Also, along with all of that, I've been dizzy and am constantly tripping up and tipping over lol. I've had terrible charlie horses, my legs have been slightly going numb on occasion, like they're falling asleep. I've had awful headaches, I'm usually prone to sinus headaches, but the past month have been the worst headaches of my life, everyday all day. I don't sleep well, I am ALWAYS tired, I toss and turn at night, usually don't stay asleep for more than 3 hours at a time, usually awaken by pain, but sometimes just out of nowhere. Back pains, acid reflux, frequent urination, and that is just what is happening at the moment as well as variously over the past few months.

What could be causing all of this, or at least some of it?

I only have share of cost medical insurance, so I don't want to rush out to the hospital again unless it seems like a problem, last time I went(in August), they focused on the pelvic pain and told me to go to the OBGYN, which was such bologna after waiting for 13 hours to be seen and getting no answers.
Please help!
Thanks so much!

Hi just came across your post,

my sister had a similar thing it was ongoing for about 6months, she suffered all these symtoms she would constantly just nod off in a deep sleep also and be awoken an hour later by pain. she had all the signs like that in her stomache, she went to the doctors over the 6months and kept getting told its this its that such as acidicty, bloating, constipation, trapped wind, so she decided to take things into her own hand and went to the hospital, well she then had mri scans etc cameras in her stomach, xrays, ultra-sounds this was ongoing on so many occasions over the 6months still nothing found.....

she decided to go back to the doctors as the pains where unbearable and the doctor was pressing on her stomach and he measured it and kept saying to her are you sure your not pregnant because to me that looks and feels like a 20week pregnancy. Anyway so the doctor send her back to a gynecologist for further scans still nothing....3weeks later she was in severe pain, couldnt sleep etc so went down to the hospital and said look you need to do something i dont know whats up...

after all the scans and that they then decided to give her some injection to check the blood cells, blood flow etc it shows up a certain colour in an xray and scan if theres a problem, they then seen that there was a problem but still couldnt see what the problem was
so then told her that theyd have to open her stomache up but they didnt know were the problem was coming from.

Anyway they then operated to find that she had an ABSCESS on top of her ovary the size of a 5MONTH Pregnancy in her stomach!
The reason for the severe pain was that she had Septicemia and if it would of been a day later she would of died.

so id stand your ground and tell them that theyres something serious up, if it goes on for any longer!
shes fine now after the operation and not had it.

hope that helps

Hi, thank you so much for replying. It was extremely helpful. However, I haven't been able to find anything out, yet, but this does clarify a few things for me and there are many relations with our stories. I am calling about some test results I haven't recevied yet, on Monday, so if that returns no answers I'll have to go back for more testing. But thank you for your answer! I'm glad someone finally posted! :-)

The pains you are describing are kind of low, but still happen. A common cause is Celiac disease. Go on a gluten-free diet for one week, see if your weight goes down or up or stays same. if your cramps relieve, then good. Now go back on a gluten diet. If the cramps come back and your weight starts flunctuating, go to the hospital. Celiac disease is an autoimmune disorder in which the immune system attacks the digestive system when gluten is consumed.
