Hello to you too. Stool acidity test is for detecting lactose intolerance. It means that your kid cannot digest milk sugar – lactose. It is caused by deficiency of an enzyme called lactase. Your child will be given a small amount of lactose. If there is intolerance, glucose will be present in stool since it wasn't absorbed in intestines. This condition is not so severe if one avoids milk and milk products. However, you must wait for results of the test. Maybe, your son has something else. Good luck!
