What does it take to really make you mad? Some people will say that everyone has the potential to kill. I will continue to deny that. What do you think. I'm one of those people that has not peaked with madness. I have gotten really angry with my sons, but never peaked to an out-of-control madness. How about you?

Hmm, I have never been in a situation where I was so mad that I could trow or brake things. I have never hit anybody nor has anybody hit me, so really I haven't been in this kind of situation. I really don't know what needs to happen so I start to behave this way. I'm usually very calm person and can not get mad over something easily. I think this is a very positive thing for me.
You know there are many video clips where you see someone gets very nervous at work and starts to trow thing all around the office, breaks monitor or copy machine. I always find this clips very funny, but never could imagine myself in on of these clips.
Did anybody here had an out brake like this?

I am a pretty laid back guy so I don't really get angry all that often. I have been flipped though, I guess, so I can see how some people can get furious and totally lose it. I can see how you could get so angry that you wouldn't be able to control your actions, but I have never really been at that point. In any case, has anyone out there felt like that?

I saw a guy other day that totally lost his mind. I went for a coffee with my friend and he came in, and started to yell for no reason at all. And then he started to trow things around. Then police came and took him away. After that I was telling my friend about this topic and how we have discussed about maddens few days ago. :-)
I really don't knot what got in to this guy, but it was really ugly. I really wouldn't like that something like this happens to me.

Wow dark_red I hope that he didn't hit you with anything! It's really scary when someone flips out like that and I get angry sometimes but I really try not to get upset like that. I hope that you're okay because something like that would really truly freak me out. I hate it when people are scary like that.

I have discovered that the older i get the thinner my patience has become. I have never known myself to actually want to "kill" someone but if i was faced with a situation....well i just don't know!!
If someone was hurting my kids or my grands, i could probably do some damage.
I still have the where with all to be able to put a lid on my anger, tho sometimes it's really hard.
Something that i have to get hold of is the fact that i am very territorial. A lady was cutting thru my yard not long ago, i live in the country where no one's yard is fenced, anyway...i was pissed all day!! I must have sulked about that for days and found myself anticapating her cutting thru my yard again. >;) >;) . Now really, what would i have done if she cut thru my yard again? I don't own an AK47 lol. I don't even like strangers coming into my home, you know, like a friend of my husbands or something like that.
This is kinda funny...my husbands friend, we'll call him Tom, whom i never met, ever, came to see him one day, unannounced. He came in and i was respecfully introduced as he sat at my kitchen table. I sat there with them and made small talk, i was fine, then........Tom passed wind, we all could hear it as he actually bent to the side to allow for better windage. I was furious. He never apologized but just kept talking. I excused myself with some stupid babbling that i had to get the laundry out of the dryer. My husband told me later that "it was a guy thing". My hub has never done that in some one else's home tho he has amped up his own wind instrument in the privavcy of our own.
I wanted to throw the kitchen chair in the garbage o.O

@ hnfg, well I wasn't hurt, but it was very unpleasant situation. It's not interesting when you are having fun with someone and in the middle of nothing someone comes up and starts to scream and trow things around. He probably has problems and I can understand that, he needs help, but this is not a way to ask for one.
@bbfeet, this is not a guy thing!!! I really don't understand your husband. This is just rude and very uninteresting for him to do. He is in your house for the first time. I think I would let him know that I don't like this and that he can not do that again.
But also I think that this should be done by your husband, because Tom is his friend?! Maybe I am mistaking???
