A friend of mine sustained a car injury last week and he told me it was a baby car fracture. He is ok now, he just has plaster on his left arm and I guess I am just being curious about the name of that injury. What does it actually mean? Does anyone know?

I suppose your friend was a bit embarrassed about how he injured himself. This happens to drivers because of the negligence and lack of attention. He was probably driving with his right hand only while his left hand was lying on the opened window with the elbow sticking out. And most probably a side view mirror from a car coming from another direction hit his elbow and broke it.

It is a Fracture of lower end of Humerous bone (The bone of arm) , usually caused by the mechanism explained by you.
