There have been studies that indicate there is less chance of developing HIV and other infections.  With proper hygeine, there is very little difference in risk however.

There is nothing wrong with an uncircumcised penis.  Most men just aren't taught how to care for it.  Many aren't aware of the need to stretch their foreskin either and it can lead to phimosis.
