Your hymen is a film of skin just inside the vaginal opening, it has little holes in it to let fluid pass out of the vagina. Its main pupose is to keep the vagina clean, but when you loose your virginity your hymen breaks and it starts to bleed, but htis can happen if you have a knock to the abdomen, or do alot of cycling or you finger your vagina then it can break.
