What should the spermatic cord feel like?

So I am 14 years old and for as long as I can remember, my spermatic cords (honestly, I have no idea if that's the right word, I just mean the cords) feel like more than a single cord. I mean like, when I feel in my fingers I can feel different bumps, like lots of cords together. 

I feel no pain or discomfort. 

Is this normal?

I mean, it's not like I can compare with anything..
