Hi Tamyne

When you're facing the prospect of having part of your body removed surgically, remember that you always have the option of seeking a second opinion on the treatments available to you. This may help you feel more secure in the decision you finally make.

A health practitioner, doctor or naturopath who practices in functional medicine (I think in the USA you call them naturopathic physicians) may be able to offer you alternative advice.

Hope this helps - let us know how you go!

Regards, Olwen :-)
