Hello! I am Ann and I am 36 years old. It was found few days ago that I have glaucoma. I am very afraid and I a still waiting for treatment. I thought that glaucoma attacks older people. Regarding the fact that I did not get treatment yet, I am wondering can you tell me what would be an appropriate treatment for glaucoma if you know that, of course. Thanks!

Hello! Glaucoma attacks older people usually (over 45-46 years), but it is possible that glaucoma will attack younger people too, especially if they are using computers much. Anyway, appropriate treatment for glaucoma depends of the stage of disease. Sometimes you can take under control eye pressure with prescribed medication, but sometimes surgery is needed.
