Is there any discharge? It could be an irritation from underwear (new washing detergent or something like that) but even if you didn't have any kind of sex before, you still can get yeast infection, for example if you needed to take antibiotics, the yeast that normally live around vaginal area in order to protect it from more dangerous infections can begin to cause problems and the most common symptoms of yeast infection are itching, redness or swelling. So, yeast infection cream should fix that problem.

I thought it might be irritation because of the allergies, but it still can be the yeast. Any chance you see a gynecologist, just to check it out? It's recommended that you have regular checkups even though you are not sexually active.
