Hello,
Normal vaginal discharge changes with the menstrual cycle. Almost all women have thick, white discharge in the last week or so before they are going to get their next period. This vaginal discharge is associated with the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle, the portion of your cycle that occurs after you have ovulated. It indicates that your fertile window is over for this month.
If you experience this kind of discharge at different times of your cycle, it smells bad, or it has clumps, then you might want to get checked out by a doctor because you could have a yeast infection. Itching is another bad sign.
