You absolutely CAN get an STD using standard protection. Just because you've had the sores before, doesn't explain your recent discharge and pain problems. And "only have two partners" is not a logical safety net from STDs--it's not the same as "Officer, I was only 5 minutes late coming back to my car, please don't give me a parking ticket" and he uses discretion and says "OK, I'll let it go just this once." STDs don't say, "Oh, it's only two partners, we'll not infect her this time".

If you're too young to be going through this, then refrain from sex. This is just common sense. Please go see a doctor, and please do not have sex with people when you have sores on your genitals. Good luck.

By the way, most likely the doctor will first get a blood and urine sample before doing anything. The lab will test it, give the doctor the results and she will go from there based on the results.

If it's a standard infection in early stages, she most likely will have no reason to "go poking around and looking down there", especially if you see your primary care physician. And before she orders those "labs" I described above, she will listen to your heart, poke on your back and push around on your abdomen.

Besides, doctors have seen it all... even genitals on cadavers. They will not be judging you. And usually the nurses are professional in setting you up in the exam room, giving you all sorts of privacy and dignity. It's not like going to the dentist where they say, "sit here and open up" in a half-private room.

Have you considered you may have Persistent Genital Arousal disorder?
It's a relatively rare condition where basically, you're very aroused almost constantly.

well Ladies, I am a guy, and it sounds alot like hyper sensivity, where the smallest vibrations can set you off. If I am right there isn't much you can do about it, my friend has the same problem, some times it is always with you, some times after puberty, or in other cases around your thirties because of hormone changes, the best advice I have is cotton underware, ibuprofen or some sort of pain reliever because it dulls the nerves, don't get dependant, only if it is real bad, and as for the other ones where your clit is swelling, sounds like a sort of infection or because of friction, tight jeans, g strings, thongs, sleeping on your side, etc, But yes I still advize a actual doctor, and if they can't help you then just keep going to other doctors till one gets it right, hope this helps :)

I was having similar symptoms and found out it was genital herpes. People have different symptoms that they notice or they can go symptomless and not know they have it until something out of the ordinary comes into play. I suggest going to the gyn and get tested for it just to be sure

Me and my partner were having sex and then it started to burn soo bad. i had to push him off. i was so embarrassed.. i tried doing research but everything is varied.. it burns while having intercourse, feels really swollen and raw. and now my clit is sore. like even the slightest touch hurts. i only have one partner and he is clean, so idk what is wrong.

i have this problem but i am NOT aroused at all! i am in PAIN!! it started 3 days ago and its uncomfortable and reading all these comments people seem to have it for years and if thats my fait then i will kill myself.

i am 21 i have had only one partner my whole life. he has had only me as his partner too. not on any contraceptives and yes we have unsafe sex without exaculating inside me. so im pretty sure this means its not an std unless he has been with someone recently and not told me but i dont think that is true.

it doessnt hurt and i feel normal when i sit with my legs cross as if my vagina is open. when my partner touched my vagina the pain comes back, when my underwear does its the exact same. when i'm walking and when im ssitting normal it all is uncomfortable!!!! i dont trust my doctor at all i am currently looking for a new doctor as i have heard my current doctor tells patients secrets if you know what i'm ssaying. please i need some help i cant stand this any longer.

i want to add that i have never had a yeast infection and do not have weird dischard with this. all it is is that it feels raw around my clitoris, the actual clitoris is NOT sore but the skin around it is red and raw and very very sore to wipe. once i have wiped it feels uncomfortable all over again i actually grab my full front and crouch to the ground hoping it goes away.

If there is a discharge, sore, pus, blood or pain on urination, go straight to your dr.

Otherwise take ibuprofen or similar for immediate pain,  bathe in slightly salty warm (not hot) water and try to eliminate allergic reaction to detergents by using unscented baby soap whilst washing. Also bear in mind that many biological (and even some "non-biologiocal" washing powders/tablets can cause severe skin reactions (which feel like the end of the world in especially sensitive parts of the body). New packs of cotton panties cost nothing.

It's a good idea to keep a private diary, to record everything you are trying to do, that way, you can help your dr/health professional isolate thed problem through elimination.

If itching persists, try taking a mild ani-hystamine to ease the discomfort. Certainly avoid sex or masturbation whilst symptoms persist (most guys will be fairly understanding - we get our own problems, too). Hopefully this helps

I have had the same problem, I honestly can say if you want instant relief run a warm bath and put about half a cup of baking soda in the bath water. Sit in the bath water for at least 15 Minutes, relax! Then put on a a clean pair of under, a looser more comfortable panty. Then wear a looser pair of pants, I wear jogging pants. I have tried everything for this problem and someone had suggested this too me. It really does work. I hope some of you ladies can find relief from this advice!!
