Why does my voice hurt in puberty

Loading...

Hi James

You can get a sore throat, especially in boys when the larnx is stretching. This is a process that is natural and ends in the voice changing to a deeper tone. It is more often called the voice breaking.

There can be some aches and pains during puberty as you are growing and developing it is normal. An over the counter throat spray may help if you need it.

Sounds like you are developing just as you should be.

cause you are going through the changes and your voicebox is growing and needs to settle down so you should gargle
and that might help it down.
