Hey, I'm 18 and I'd like to ask if not retracting your foreskin while a teenager might cause to the penis not to grow to its normal size. For a year now, I pull it back from time to time normally, but the thing is once I do, the foreskin it's like it's gathered and there's no more penis to cover, so there's like more skin in length than penis, and the truth is my penis is small (not a micropenis, it's just smaller than the predicted average, especially when not erected). When I was little I had something like paraphimosis, it was cured, but then it hurt when I retracted the foreskin, so it made me not retract it again from like 10-11 years old to like 16-17, and it feels like the foreskin is keeping my penis like inside and when not erected it's like the glans and some of the rest of the penis, but in situations like after peeing it gets longer (not much). I'm really confused, and I don't think I had a hormone problem while a teenager cause everything else in my body is fine-grown up, and as I said I don't think I have a micropenis, but I also think some of my penis is just used to be stuck back inside me even when erected? I don't know, anyone with any idea of what could be wrong? Thanks in advance.

Hi Random,
It won't affect the size but it can make it appear smaller as your penis will pull the skin around the groin as you get erect.
It's normal for there to be more skin than penis. Some guys have very long foreskins, others not so.
It's not too late to stretch it some more. The glans is going to be sensitive and that's normal too. You will get used to it.
Average for an adult male is 5.1" erect.

You do not have a micropenis. Your penis can grow into your early 20's too.
Are you overweight? It can make your penis appear smaller than it is.

I'm a bit overweight, like 40 pounds more than my height, Ik it sounds a lot but I don't really look that fat, I think I might have a bit fat in that area, maybe if I lose the weight, it'll help. But, I'll definitely visit a urologist to be safe for anything. Thanks a lot, you made me feel better! :)
