I would. Yes, I'm an American citizen, but I have very strong ties to my Italian heritage and would most certainly run for Team Italy if I had the ability to qualify (which I obviously don't but it's a nice fantasy). If my own country didn't deem me "good enough" to compete for them, despite my ability, then....their loss. My roots go a little deeper than my physical address.
