I was prescribed zithromax to treat a sinus/upper resporatory infection. The same day I began taking zithromax, I also began showing signs of a bladder infection. Went back to doctor the next day to confirm the UTI through dipstick testing of urine. He did not change my course of antibiotics and said that since it was bacterial, zithromax should clear it up. Nothing I have read about UTIs indicates that zithromax will clear up the UTI. I have taken zithromax for 2 days and have no improvement of the UTI. Is zithromax sufficient to treat it? And what should I do?

went in to get a z pack for my bronchitis, I had also been suffering with a utc and inflamed prostrate and the aches and pains that come with it. Got the z pack, came home took the first two z pills went to bed, slept soundly through the night for the first time in weeks, and my appetite has returned, I feel great,aches and pains are gone ! So was it the Z pills or just your average miracle?sound
