I am going through the same thing. I am 2 months late, have taken 4 tests and they all are negative. I have breast tenderness. My gums are bleeding (which I read is a sign of pregnancy), I am retaining water (my fingers and hands swelled so bad that I had to cut my engagement and wedding band off!) and I am feeling nauseous and dizzy. I am more than a little worried. My husband and I want a baby, but we are not ready financially right now. Anybody going through the same thing or have any advice? I am going to the doctor next week.

I AM NOW TWO MONTHS LATE AND I HAVE DONE THE HPT BUT THEY ALL SAY NOT PG. I USUALLY SKIP ONE MONTH TO REGULATE MY CYCLE FROM BEGINNING OF THE MONTH TO THE END OF THE MONTH. BUT TWO MONTHS LATER AND STILL NOTHING! I HAVE BREAST TENDERNESS AND IN THE AFTERNOON I FEEL SLIGHTLY SICK. IM ALWAYS TIRED I JUST THINK ITS WEIRD THAT THE HPT COMES OUT NEG.

hi..i have been moving around the country a lot.. imean 2 months stay at aplace then move t another for 2 months, then another for 15 days and then to another. my periods got delayed for two and half months. this is the first time it has happened. ultrasound has shown everything as normal...there's no pregnancy. no ovarain cysts. normally i have periods which have a gap of round 35-37 days. the gynae i visited with the report, said irregular periods usually mean polyctsic ovarain disease...
but i am zapped sice the ultrsound has shown my ovaries to be normal..the only reason he gave me for the disease is that i have more than normal hair growth in the groin and some on teh abdomen...which is think is not abnormally excessive though!
the question is whether polystic ovarian syndrome can be there without cysts being there in the ovaries??? i have got no pain, no nausea, no significant back pain. cud my missed period be becoz of all the moving around?
anyone out there with similar history and with answers?

i am having the same problem. i am going on 3 months without my period and i have taken around 5 pregnancy tests. ALL come out negative and my boyfriend swears that i am not pregnant but i can't help but worry. I mean I usually have irregular periods but never have been more than 2 weeks late so it's really scaring me. All of these posts are really helping me out. The only symptoms I have is that my sleep cycle is completely off, and I heard that can affect your period. Also, I have been having really stressful months because of classes and finals... I REALLY hope I'm not but I set an appt. with my doctor just to make sure nothing has gone seriously wrong. :-(

You might want to go see a OB but this shounds like it could be ovarian cysts. It can cause irregular or no periods and abdominal pain. Chances are if you are 3 months late and are getting negative results then you are not pregnant. The best (and safest) way to to get rid of the cysts and regulate your period is to start birth control pills. The hormones in the pill will regulate you body and get it back on track. If you are trying to become pregnant and don't want don't want to be on the pill, don't worry it should only take about two months and you will not have any harmful side affects!!

this is my first time, i havent had a period since April. I came off the shot and got my period in April. Very slight bleeding for about 2 weeks. May came and the only time i bleed for about a week was when me and my bf had sex. But still wasnt even enough to wear a pad. June a little spooting here and there but nothing since. Now my bf is now my ex-fiancee. I've been more stressed and i have never missed 5 months of period except when i was pregnant with my son who's 15 months now. I've been doing research to try and figure out what may be the case being that i've taken quite a few tests and they all were negative. its wierd because when i didnt get my period in may i was really having the symptoms vomitting, nausea. I didnt think it was related to stress because i was the happiest i had ever been. But now i just dont know. I scheduled an appointment but cant be seen until october 31. So maybe i'll have some idea then. Any suggestions?

i used clomid last month after last period on the 5th but missed my period this month, 6 days gone now no sign of period but am having symptoms of pregnancy. thought i was pregnant, i did three home preg. test but all came negative. i don't know what's happening but want to wait till next week before going to see doc. i'm having fever that makes my temperature goes up and down and peeing a lot too accompany with belching. am totally confused.

I am 3 months late and NEVER have an irregular period for 10 years now. I have taken test and they too are neg. I am going to give it until after turkey day and go to the doctor. Hopefully you found out what was going on I have also had ovarian cysts and they didnt even mess up my cycle. My doctor has said that my birth control may cause me to skip a month here and there but should never be 2.
