I am 46 and starting "pre" menopause. For the past few years, I have experienced more frequent periods, followed by a recent visit to the ER for abdominal pain with a dark, discharge. Tests revealed nothing wrong; but a possible infection inside the endometrin (sp). Took the antibiotics; mostly cleared up. My period is late....(I'm not pregnant). I am going to see a specialist in a couple weeks but was wondering if any other women my age experienced anything close to what I just described...
