Okay...I'm 37 yr old and a mother of 2 teens. Recently me and my boyfriend decided to try to have children. since i get my period on a regular basis, I didn't think it would be very difficult to get pregnant. Well I'm over a week late with my period...I've take 5 pregnancy tests (one being at the drs office) and they all came back negative. My dr drew some blood for a blood test and I get the results on Tuesday. i guess my question to anyone that may have gone thru this before is.....Is it possible for me to be pregnant still? I have all the symptoms of pregnancy: nausea, vomitting, dizziness, tiredness, sensitive to smells etc.etc.....my breasts were tender but not as much anymore. I'm just wondering if my age has anything to do with my negative tests when I feel 100% pregnant?? If anyone can help me understand this more.. I would really appreciate it!

i have not experienced this before. but there is a such thing as getting a false negative early on in a pregnancy. some women go months without even knowing they are pregnant. the late period and all the symptoms sounds like you're pregnant. only the blood test will be able to tell. but sounds like you are.
