She had light brown discharge then just clear from her vagina. She's only 6 years old although she looks like she's 9.... is it a hormone problem? Why would this be happening? I'm making a doctor appointment for her I'm worried.

As I understand this can happen sometimes with no particular reason. I read somewhere about this long time ago and I remember that the problem was gone after some time with no treatment. However I think the good idea is to check with the doctor and see if there are any infections present. Is she complaining on any pain in the vaginal area? Sometimes some cream prescriptions can help the discharge go away, but it’s good idea to check with the doctor first. One more thing, have you noticed any changes in her stool? If there are problems with her stool also, this might be a Staph infection. This will require more accurate testing.
