My duromine journey so far. Great results. I started taking duromine on advise from my doctor in February 2013. I am a 30yr old electrical contractor, married with 3 kids a dog and mortgage to boot. My body was literally falling apart at the seams when I approached my doctor with request for intervention surgery. He said that I was not a candidate for the procedure and suggested a less intensive approach. He stared me in duromine 30 gave me the list of benefits and side effects and I pondered of for 5 days. At the time I was 12.5kgs, 5'6.5 (172cm) and in pain. I had battled the bulge ever since I got married 10 years ago, having been a gym/weights freak I had so much soft latent muscle mass the dat on top made me look like a bloated ball. Duromine is not easy, but it gets better and easier as you progress. The first week is hellish, headaches, thirst, drowsiness in the afternoon, sleepless nights. The second week was more bare able being able the sleep more energy, no appitite and obsessively impulsive (wanting to do everything fast, move to the next task, repeat... Not my normal outlook) After the first two weeks my body started to change, my diet changed, my energy changed, it was like a switch has been flicked inside me. I started to decrease in weight, confidence started to increase and I started to lose that horrible bloated look. I did duromine 30 for thee months without excercise and lost 8kgs!!!! I made the mistake of not exercising and it not me on the bum, hard. The forth month was stressful, changing jobs and extra training mixed with a heavy workload, o/t + paperwork saw me expand 4kgs. Depressing. I went back to the doctor and I went back on duromine 40, surprisingly no side effects, except extreme thirst. I have stayed with duromine 40 for the last 3 months hand have started the Insanity program by shaun t. My body has responded the the exercise and I e now dipped between 97-96kgs. My goal is 92-90kgs and at this rate it's two months away. My advise to anyone taking duromine, eat fruit, drink water, take vitamins, exercise, push through the pain, steady yourself when you think you are going to lose your mind and keep your goal in sight. Believe me the longer you are on duromine the easier it gets!
