Ive got a question, a few days ago my penis started itching, the foreskin just above the head started swelling up to the point that its difficult too pull the skin back and that piece of skin also has a red discolouration. Also there is a white residue under the skin and on the head that has never been there before...what could this be?

Hi, it sounds like you have Balanitis, an inflammation that affects the head of the penis and/or the foreskin. It occurs primarily in uncircumcised men. Poor hygiene may lead to an may lead to an accumulation of smegma that irritates the skin of the penile head, ultimately causing inflammation and swelling.
The white stuff you see is probably Smegma on your penis head, have you ever been able to pull your foreskin back and clean your penis head before?

I think you have a yeast infection.

Candidiasis is the name for a yeast infection.

You may try to treat it at home by:

1. Washing the area.
2. Drying the area thoroughly.
3. Applying athlete's foot cream containing clotrimazole.
