hi, I'm man, 24 years old and I have a problem regarding my scrotal area. Some time ago strange white lump has appeared on the left side of my scrotum. It didn’t hurt when I was touching it so I decided to try to squeeze it out, because what was inside it looked like pus. I did manage to squeeze some of the pus out but when I did it started bleeding and hurting very much. On the place where the lump was a strange red scar appeared, and soon many more lumps like the one I squeezed out started appearing all over my scrotum. What am I supposed to do about it? Please help!

You didn’t give any information about the event that might have caused the change. But from your description I can say that this could be a possible bacterial infection of your scrotal area. Sometimes sebaceous glands which are situated in the skin of the scrotum can get obstructed, so they have nowhere to secrete their products, sebum accumulates in the glands causing them to get bigger and later if the integrity of the skin is impaired the bacterial infection can happen. By squeezing the contents of the lump you probably infected it with some bacteria, that caused the infection to spread though the skin and more and more lumps appeared. The most frequent infections are those with streptococcus or staphylococcus. They are easily treated with superficial antibiotics. You should consult your doctor, he should determine the real cause of the change and give you the right treatment for it.
