I experienced abnormal bleeding during my last period. I had severe cramps and low stomach pain. I had to stay in bed. Was it menorraghia? I usually have normal periods; I don’t have bleeding among the periods.

Abnormal bleeding may be normal in years before menopause. But sometimes it is symptom of polyps or fibroids in uterus. A friend of mine had abnormal bleeding caused by Willebrand’s disease. But it’s familiar, hereditary disease. You should make some examinations. Early diagnosis is always the best.
