Abortion to Implant constant bleeding

Around May 12th I had a medical abortion as I was 7 weeks pregnant. All was fine and I was gradually stopping bleeding, however, it never quite stopped. I was passing clots at first but then it calmed down. A few weeks later I had the implant inserted and the bleeding carried on at the same rate. However now I've started passing clots again and can't keep a tampon/pad for more than 5 minutes. I'm really worried because I can't really leave the house as its not under my control at the moment. Is this normally the case??

I've rang the clinic that I attended but all they could say was "didn't you read the leaflet on the implant". I did and it certainly doesn't say anything about super heavy bleeding :-( and I recall them just telling me "you will either have little bleeding or none at all".

So now I feel like they've pushed me into a decision and I'm worried because I don't know if i'm supposed to be bleeding like this. Its been a while now and I can't remember the last time I wasn't bleeding and no one can help me. If I was aware of this I wouldn't have agreed as its completely ruining my holidays.

Today I've almost fainted, I think maybe because I've lost too much blood but again I just don't know.

If anyone can help please reply, I'm relying on the internet to tell me now and it's so unreliable :'(
