You are 15 she is 16 - her life is at risk here if you try any 'home' abortion methods unless you go to Planned Parenthood or an abortion clinic where they have both equipment and knowledge to deal with this situation. There is a pill or medical abortion available, so your girlfriend wouldn't need any surgical procedure. If you are in the state that requires parental consent for an abortion, than now you know why is that the case - the risks of non sanitary procedure or taking some pills could do serious harm to your girlfriend. You're not ready to have a baby and taht is fine, but don't risk everything - even an unsuccessful abortion.

You can't.

It is VERY dangerous for her to try to have an abortion at home.  She needs to see a doctor (or go to a clinic).  The drugs (if a chemical abortion) are administered under a doctor's care.  You can't buy them on your own.  Depending where you live an abortion may not be legal at 16.

She will also need to go back after the abortion to make sure that it is complete.  If not, she can get a life threatening infection.

How have you confirmed the pregnancy?

If you try this using some other method, she can get a severe infection, possibly becoming infertile or in some cases, even die.  It is also possible that you cause severe damage to the fetus - but that it doesn't abort and that the baby is born with lifelong severe handicaps.

You need to talk to your parents - BOTH of you.

I guarantee that they will still love you.  Yes, they will very probably be upset.  That's OK and normal.  When you tell your parents don't go in as a little kid, you're not one anymore.  You need to talk to them as an adult would.  Tell them directly, don't hint around, that your girlfriend is pregnant.  If you can you should go with her when she tells her parents.

Something else to consider, many women (and men) have regrets from abortion even years later.  It's not as if you're having your appendix removed - even that leaves a scar.

You do have options.  Placing the baby up for adoption is just one.

No, birth control pills will not "kill" the child. Once you are pregnant the birth control pills won't do anything - except, if she takes a lot of them, make her VERY SICK.

There are NO SAFE at home abortion methods. If you live in a place where she needs parental consent then NO your parents can not take her for the abortion.

No, punching and kicking her will NOT kill the baby. The fetus is VERY WELL protected, deep inside her body and in a layer of fluid. All you will do is hurt your girlfriend.

Mike, it was an accident. Don't get frustrated and try something that can cause more problems. The only SAFE way for an abortion is under medical supervision - such as in the clinic.
