Hi, Just discovered this forum and would appreciate any help.  

My problem: About 2 years ago I started getting pain in my anus which bleeds when I have a BM. My anus is constantly itchy, stinging/burning and I often get a sharp shooting pain (like some one has stuck a piece of glass in my anus, which on a bad day can last for 30 minutes) sometimes it also feels like I need to pee all the time .  

I have seen my GP twice and although he nor I can feel anything inside my anus, he has prescribed Anusol cream which makes it sting worse and then Anusol suppositories which does numb the pain.  

I must also point out that my symptoms disappear for Months then come back. Thank you.
