My partner went in to hospital almost a year ago now to get an absess or boil drained from between his bum cheeks about an inch above the anus, everything was going fine (he wasnt in pain any more) and it began to heal, then stopped shortly after the nurses stopped coming, since then it will close slightly then open again and has been an open wound this hole time, it doesnt really bleed much and he only get a little bit of puss type stuff.

I've begged him to go to the doctors but he wont because he cant afford time off work. I'm thinking if i can get an idea as to whats going on i can explain the importance of going to a doctor, instead of only being able to say it could be or it might be or you could have etc i can then say theres a good chance its this and maybe then he'll get a little scared and want to make sure.
