I have been into pain medication for 4 years now for my migraine headaches. I’m into fioricet since my migraine attacks are very severe. I’ve read from somewhere that fioricet contains something addictive in nature? Actually, they’re on and off in my case so I believe I’m not addicted to it. But since it got me a little concerned, I would like to know what the signs are of someone getting addicted to the medication. I appreciate the replies. Thanks!

i have been on norco 325mg (vicodin) for a bit over a year...i do not believe i am addicted to this Rx because I have heard anyway you cannot get addicted to pain killers while you are in pain...at least that is what I have heard and believe...anyway, hope this helps. I suffer from migraines for years and believe it or not...what helps them subside, for a while anyway, is cold...i have friends who have a stand-up freezer....when they are that bad I walk in there for about 5 minutes or so...as long as I can tolerate the cold...but meds are great too!
