I have been wanting to loose my virginty for some time and i am really scared to do it becuase of the pain, i usually do not have that much of a low pain tolerancy but for some reason when it think about loosing my virginity it seems extremely painful. I know a lot of the reason for the pain of loosing your virginity is the membrane that needs to be broken. When I was in the 5th grade I had gone to the bathroom and as i was wiping my finger sliped into my vigina, soon after i felt an extreme amount of pain and then i started to bleed, i had bleed for a few days afterwards. I thought it would have been my period but after i had stopped bleeding i realized it was not my period becuase i had gotten it about two years later and it was a completly diferent experience. I was wondering if maybe i had broken that membrane? If so will my first time with intercourse be as painful as I am thinking?

The hymen (the skin you are talking about) isn't actually the main cause of pain when loosing virginity, because it has very little nerve endings in it. Most women only realise it has been ruptured when they see a little bleeding afterwards.
You can't break a hymen with your fingers, its too small. and would slip straight through it, like a tampon would, without breaking it.
Most pain is because simply you are not used to having an object as large as an erect penis inside you! A penis is a LOT bigger than a finger, and longer and wider too. Most virgins hop straight into bed and get at it, and find it hurts, because they are taking it too fast - it needs to be one step at a time.
When I lost mine, we used a little lubrication, and took it very gently, not caring about the pleasure, more about being together, and It didn't hurt me at all. - if you take your time and be gentle, realising that you won't get much pleasure out of your first intercourse so don't go too hard or fast and hurt yourself trying!

I was always scared of the pain as well when it came to losing my virginity. I was embarasssed about the thought that I could bleed on the guy I was with and that I might have to tell him to stop because I might be in to much pain...
I was late getting my period in my teens, so I knew when I started bleeding one day when I was 15 that it could be my period but realized soon afterwards that I had broken the lining of skin while horse back riding.
When I lost my virginity a few years later, it did still hurt. I did not use any sort of lubricant which probably would have been a good idea and the fact that the guy I was with was, for loss of a better word, HUGE! It probably didn't help either. 8-|
BUT don't dispair, as time went on the pain soon disappeared and now I do not feel any pain what so ever! It didn't take long. So you possibly could feel a little pain, so if your worried, I would apply a lubricant before hand. Or just know that the pain will not last for long.
Hope this helps!
