My doctor has suggested having a Marquet Osteotomy. He performed an arthroscopic procedure this summer to repair a meniscus tare and misplacement and clean up some minor joint damage. I've gone through therapy and had a series of protein shots under the knee cap. However, I'm still experiencing pain, swelling and displeasure. Can't do anything! He tells me I’m too young to have a knee replacement and he suggested this procedure. The level of pain increases and deceases on a daily bases. But there is always pain. I’m a little nervous about the description of the procedure. Is there any information, patient reviews, anything that will help me understand and prepare me?
