Hi,

I am 25 years old. When my penis is in erected state, the foreskin still covers the tip of the penis. However if i manually take the cover (foreskin) down then it comes down. Is this a abnormal behavior? What should i do to make it normal?

NOTE: My penis is completely erected, there is no problem of partial erection.

Well, an average foreskin covers the glands of the penis completely when soft. When erect average foreskin typically slides back and exposes some if not all of the glands. The more flexible and abundant the frenum is, the more likely the foreskin is able to slide up and down. The foreskin serves a few different purposes, the first is protective. It offers lubrication during masturbation or partnered sex. When a penis becomes erect, some foreskins will retract well over the head of the penis, while others may still cover some of the head of the penis, some won't even show the head of the penis at all, like yours does. If your foreskin isn't causing you any problems like infections or inflammations you should leave it the way it is. If you are having any pain, or if your foreskin is too tight to move as it is supposed to, it's a good idea to check in with your doctor.
