Pain in the femur area after hip surgery could be due to various reasons, such as nerve irritation, infection, blood clot, or improper healing. It's important for a doctor to assess the surgical site and determine the cause of the pain.
The rash all over his body could be unrelated to the surgery or could indicate an allergic reaction, medication side effect, infection, or another underlying condition. A doctor will need to examine the rash and evaluate any accompanying symptoms to determine the cause and provide appropriate treatment.
In the meantime, you can encourage your husband to rest, avoid any activities that exacerbate the pain, and keep the affected areas clean and dry. If the pain becomes severe or if he develops any difficulty breathing, swelling, or other concerning symptoms, seek emergency medical attention immediately.
