I'm having a problem that I REALLY don't want to go see my doctor about unless I have to.

Four months ago my weight was 410 pounds. I started taking Bontril and working on my weight with a doctor, diet and exercise. I've since lost 55 pounds, my blood pressure is good, and I feel better.

Now my problems. My feces is green first of all. I mean a bright, fluorescent green. I've read this is a by-product of the Bontril removing fat around the liver but I'm not sure. Also, I've got a couple of painful bumps just inside my anus. The bumps are hard and about pea sized. Some mornings when I poop it's a teeth gritting, sink gripping adventure because of the pain. Other mornings they don't hurt at all. Then there are the days I feel sore. If I contract my sphincter muscle it will releive the pressure/pain I feel but as soon as I relax it the pain is back.

My bowel movements range from "normal" to "soft" so I don't think I'm straining anything while having one.

This has been going on for about a month now.

So, do you think this is related to the Bontril, the weight loss, or do i need to go make out a will and start digging a hole?
