How are you feeling now? Yesterday I read the side effects for Flonase again, and still, despite so many people having problems with this drug, there is nothing noted in possible side effects about anxiety, depression, heart racing, etc.

Using Flonase and experiencing insomnia, anxiety, tightness in chest, rapid heartbeat. I thought I was going crazy.

been using Flonase for two months and I have been having terrible anxiety. I have had anxiety in the past but it might last an hour or so and it could be weeks or months between. In the last month it has been every day. I also find that I can't take a deep breath. I thought I was just having anxiety nothing was going on that should have been causing anxiety. Also I have always had trouble sleeping but over the last couple of months it has gotten worse not being able to fall asleep until 1 or2 am. I just sprayed it shortly before I found this page and I am feeling anxious. I am going to throw it out. Hopefully once it gets out of my system, I will get over this horrific anxious feeling. Thank you.

I came to this page because I started Flonase again for the first time since I was 15 and am stopping for the same reason I did then, extreme tightness in chest and sweaty waves of anxiety, shaking hands the whole bit

I have really bad allergies. Cant even sleep a full night without waking up with itchy palate ears and eyes. The nasal steroids are the only thing that help my symptoms. I'm at 2 weeks of taking the spray and have anxiety, anger and irritability. Wonder if anyone has stuck it out to see if these symptoms subside? I know with other drug I have taken the initial symptoms subside or go away.

I know I would never take it again and I have read there could be knew long term effects. My boyfriend had horrible allergies and quit eating gluten, processed foods and tons of sugar and they completely went away. Good luck and i hope you feel better soon!!

I had a very hard time, took months for the symptoms to subside. I am now prone to anxiety and never had it before taking this drug. I would not recommend waiting to see if the anxiety symptoms subside, the risk is too great. I agree with the other guest. If you see my previous posts, all my sinus problems resolve when I changed my diet. I suffered all my life, then cut out dairy, soy, wheat and eggs. No more sinus trouble. (Or joint or stomach trouble either.) Perhaps try seeing if eliminating some things from your diet would help. Good luck.
