hi im 29 years old i have been drinking from the age of 14 only lightly or on an odd day till the age of 22 then i started drinking heavy cause i started takeing panic attacks or anxiety attacks for the past 7 years i have let this go on not knowing what was wrong with me and over the 7 years i drink all day long to stop these attacks coming on not knowing drink was causeing this i have created fears and phobias im off the drink 3 days and on medication im worried when i finish the medication this is all going to come back if anybody has some advise that could help that would be great thanks for reading.

or is there any types of long therm medication you can take for panic/anxiety attacks?

hope this helps, the attacks and anxiety was probably due to something that occurred a few months prior the first attack.. Could be something that distressed you pretty strongly, if so think about counselling and resolving the issues. Also the alcohol would of made things worst as it weakens you in more ways than one, think about getting a healthy diet, looking into vitamin c, b's and zinc etc. and  work with a professional. May be a bit hard to commit at the begining  but the longer you leave it the more pain you will go through... most importantly get your balance, become healthier, happier and more focused on a positive future.
