I am going to have my knee joints replaced. I am interested in the recovery process and the possibilities of being normal and without pain again. Thank you

At first you will have to use a stick for walking but will be “forced” to walk shortly after the surgery, maybe even the next day. YOU may experience pain but it should go away in a couple of weeks or something. YOU will need to exercise following a special program. As for being normal again…..well, you definitely won’t be able encouraged to play tennis but slower activities like dancing or walking, or golfing will be available to you.
