For more than a year, maybe two I've been dealing with back muscle pains as I sleep. The pain is centered in the thorasic area. Just above mid back mostly just to the left of my spine. This occurs only when I sleep 5+ hours and only happens in my sleep. I am only 24 and keep very active. It feels as though through out the night my muscles tighten up then start to almost spasm and tense up till it hurts and makes it unconfortable to sleep. I saw my doctor a while ago who told me it was my Thorasic muscles and to take Ibprofin to keep the inflamation down. Could this be anything else internal? I'd like to find a better cure than just poppin Ibprofin every night. Any idea as to what this might be? Thanks.
