My opinion is if you are only 17, you need to tell your parents that you are having some issues dealing with your rectum and that you need to see a doctor, and once you are alone with that doctor you need to tell him what you have done. Yes embarrassing BUT you need to tell him/her. You don't need to wait to much longer, because it could cause problems, well worse problems then you are already having. I don't recommend Vaseline as an anal lube, it has been my experience that Vaseline (aka petroleum Jelly) is highly irritating to the sensitive areas of the anus/rectum. I would recommend a personal lubricant designed specifically for vaginal or anal use, per the label on the product. Another alternative might be a pure aloe vera gel; haven't tried aloe so I can't be sure it won't irritate. There's no reason why a minor wouldn't be able to purchase any of these products since they are not age restricted. Be careful of the personal lubricant products, many of the labels are misleading and they are not formulated to be used on the sensitive internal tissues. Many of them are intended for use on exposed skin as a massage oil, etc. and will irritate sensitive internal areas. Avoid using products that list either mineral oil or glycerin as an ingredient since both of these are petroleum byproducts and are likely to irritate. The best lube to use might be that which is used by the ob/gyn doctors for vaginal exams. You should be able to get some at any medical supplies store, just check on an internet map for one close to your area.

You really need to get into a physician regardless of the embarassment about your anal activity. You are set up for a long term health issue. A rectal physician is not cheap to afford on your own so use mom and day. The constant displacement of you rectum and large colon can be a message that you may not wish to hear if it becomes an emergency room situation. It sounds as though your spincter muscles in your anus and rectum are weakened. Since there is a downward pull to your excretory system, some of your tissue may come through your anus. I wish you only the best with this issue. Trust in the love of your parents more than your pride. I had a similar issue years ago where I created a fissure in my rectum. I almost waited to long to do something about it. The doctor told me in recovery that the damage was bad enough he considered a coloseotmy bag until my insides healed. Then I would have another surgery to have the colosteomy appliance removed. Now I am a combat veteran from Viet Nam with 11 spine surgeries. Back then that anal surgery was the most painful experience in my long life. Please get on top of this, my young friend.

listen to her she's right! aloe vera, or i use spit and non fragrance organic moisturizer, like "kiss my face" olive and aloe frangrance free/sensitive skin/no parabens. aloe is the best though, think, the simpler the better. this is going inside you, your insides are sensitive, especially as you get older, which happens fast, so better to keep your insides chemical free now so that later you will look back and be thankful-if that makes sense. the ones that they sell in sex shops are totally horrible and will burn, and there is a reason, its cheap stuff. keep it organic, keep it simple, oils break down condoms so use spit, aloe or a water based lube, but if you are alone go for simple.

I was the same at your age. I've read so many pages about house hold items that can be used as a safe lube. I read that when trying a new substance just put a little bit just on your anus, but not in. And if it burns or hurts in anyway then DON'T use it.
Since reading this tip I've tried many things but recently I've found that Dove bar of soap is good.
If you do decide to use this use the tip above. Everyones guts are different and yours may react differently!

All you should do, start using lotion on your hands right? Tell ur parents your skin is dry lately, and tell them that if they don't want you using up theirs, they should buy you some non scented stuff that you could keep in your room in case your skin is dry at night. I personally use Vaseline Men cooling body lotion.
It comes in a large container, it's very slippery. It causes no irritation, it gives yor anus a pleasent cool sensation (Depeding on where the lotion gets to inside your butt...and it's cheap, real cheap. I always have at least 3 bottles tucked aweay ;). Try it out, first time i used the stuff it was a cuke, best.day.ever.

I am the same age and do the same thing I have found that if you you have a sister or mom they buy lotion at bath and body works. It smells great, they never can tell its missing and it's not hard to wash away when your done...
