bladder sling surgery

Bladder sling is a treatment for urinary incontinence. The thing is that this procedure involves deep incision so after being in a hospital for two or three days you will go home. You have to understand that there is chance that recovery period will be up to four weeks. This is not something that will heal very fast and very easy and some pain will be noticed. The amount of pain you have after surgery depends on the exact nature of your procedure. Has your doctor given you any medication for after care? Do you take any pain medication to lower the pain that you feel? I hope that you will be better soon.

Can I have the vaginal sling surgery while on my period? I have surgery scheduled in a few day and I'm afraid I will start my period before the surgery.

I had my bladder put in a sling a few months back. I am now having pain in my let side. Has anyone else have this? It's a sharp pain. Someone please help!
