bleeding for 2wks, from dark brown to red not heavy, no clot

i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend and with no condemn, but later that night i thought i was okay because i had my period right after. 2 wks later i experience a faint pink blood when i peed but it never came down,then it went to dark brown and then red. i dont remember seeing any clots but i didnt have any pain and it didnt feel like a normal period. i took a test but it said i wasnt pregnant. did i take it too early, i took it around the time i normally would have had a period.
