I cannot say that my teeth are perfect, but I have always tried to keep them healthy. I am 40 years old now and last week I had my first tooth filling. It went ok, but now I have some problems – bleeding gums following filling. I scheduled with my dentist for next week, but I would like to know now something about this.

Bleeding gums following filling are not that unusual. You have to realize that gums are also a muscle so it acts like one. Under stress, it can be damaged and start bleeding. Regular brushing also helps, because it is a sort of exercise for them. You could also use some herbal teas for mouth washing. They act as an antiseptic help with healing
