I am a 25 year old male and have been suffering with this problem for the last 10 years.. I like the above have had all the tests, scans, ultrasounds, camera's, antibiotics etc to no avail. I have just been told that that firstly there is nothing serious such as cancer of the prostate and my kidneys and bladder are fine. secondly on my second camera after a spell of heavy bleeding they could see where it was entering the bladder, however quartirising i was told was too risky being a good looking young guy :)

I was in a long term relationship at that time and she understood, but know im a single guy its rather/extremely annoying/embarrassing when i cum blood or make a mess of a girls rest room when a clot gets lodged.

The only advice I can give when your bladder clots up is to jump up and down to try and break up the clot before trying to pass urine, also if you are extremely busting for the toilet but can pass, it is because the bladder is shaped like the top half of a hourglass ie has a small neck, i have found that if you sit on the toilet and lean forward nearly touching your toes the urine can pass the clots allowing you to urinate, this can relieve a lot of pressure and save a trip to the hospital and the dreaded catheter.

I hope this can help until a scientific resolution is reached

Thanks for the tips. I'll give it a try for sure next time I find my self struggling with passing one of these nasty things. I have had this happening off and on for the last 18 yrs. Ever since I was 16 years old. My wife tells me it likes like I gave birth when ever a big one hits the toilet. I know exactly what you mean.

The first time I noticed the issue was my senior year in hs after oral sex. A girl performed oral sex and I had a full stream of blood come out. The issue went away and only 3 years later after some dry grinding did I feel some sensitivity in my side and again peed a full stream of blood. Since then, it has been a lot more frequent and only happened from sexual encounters. I went to my university health center and took it easy for awhile. Tonight, it happened again after sex and I am very nervous. I do not want any cameras up my you know what.

I've had this 3 times over as many years and it has not recurred since I had an operation.

Some background:
I'm 37.
I had a cystoscopy 3 times.
I had a CT scan.
I had a scan for kidney stones.
I had blood tests for prostate cancer, twice.

And all came back negative (or positive depending on how you look at it)

Finally my consultant took some samples of tissue up the urethra near the prostate and the results came back that I had some polyps.  What he believed was happening was the ejaculate was coming from the prostate under pressure and impacting against the polyps and causing them to bleed.

So he suggested putting a soldering iron (or something similar :) up my tube and cauterising the polyps.  (Yes under a general!!!)

This resolved my problem.

I don't know whether this will resolve your particular problem too but at least it's an avenue to explore with your consultant.

I wish you all the best.

Do any of you guys have a curved penis? I have the same problem, off and on for 5 years now. I'm now convinced that this issue is some sort of injury, as it seems to occur with sex more than masturbation. I'm using the saw-palmetto, which keeps my urine flowing, and I'm eatting more greens, but I still have blood after sex. Just curious about the curved penis thing.

i have the same issue and i have come to find that standing to pee is best because sitting just builds the clot even more and is harder to push out. like someone said earlier, taking a shower helps to relaxyou a bit and help it come out. that usually what i do if it wont come out right away. ive had all the test and they say im normal as well but its still very freaky! ive just now started having this happen every time i ejaculate and it's freaking me and my partner out to the point where we dont want to have sex. im going back to the doc soon. hopefully something is done about it this time.

I'm 53 and my trouble began over ten years ago when i couldn't pee standing up anymore; only in small amounts, per sitting. so i was going to the toilet a lot for not much urination each time. upon seeing a urologist, he taught me how to self-cath and showed me how i was only half emptying my bladder each time i went, causing me to be prone to infections of the bladder. i began following his recommendation to self-catheterize every time i urinated, but after getting repeated urinary tract infections for the following three months, i stopped that procedure and went back to only half emptying my bladder each time i went.

speed up to a year ago. i began having gas-related pain in my mid-back area on the left side; just about where the kidney would be, i think. about the same time, i began getting spasm-like pains emanating from my crotch/left testicle. the pain also ran up and along to the left from my groin. also, i began having some urinary incontinence while asleep. i didn't wet the bed, merely "leaked." my old problem of only being able to void urine in small amounts continued. i was getting up to pee three or four times a night, changing my underwear each time. i did some web research and concluded i might have kidney stones. so i tried "stone-breaker", for a while. didn't seem to change anything after a month, so i stopped that. about a month ago, i began taking wheatgrass pills, as someone told me that may help my kidneys, no other reason. last night i drank a bottle of wine, had some self-pleasure and went to sleep.

when i awoke i peed urine and blood and blood clots. i thought i was imagining the size of the clots, but noticed that my urine flowed better after they seemed to come through. i checked, and yup, they were those leech-sized clots everyone here has discussed (i am so relieved to have found this site and all of your testimonies, BTW). all day, each time i pee, more blood and more clots. they even seem to have been getting larger.

i hope the blood clots lead to a better flow and a return to normal urination, but who knows? in the meantime, i am going to see the doctor and begin trying for a diagnosis again.

My doctor recommended that I have as much sex as I wanted, in order to clean out infection, etc. I just got back from the beach and now there's no blood in my ejactulation, so I believe it could be stress related, even though my urologist says he doubts it.

Make him an appointment with the GP. Its probably just a popped blood vessel. Its probably nothing to worry about. Lay off sex for a week or 2.

Well guys i have read all these posts and I have to admit at 77 years of age I have this problem also. my wife has decided not to have sex anymore and i have always had a strong sex drive so still masturbate. I have had lots of discharges of blood and clots over the years but I don't seem to have suffered any ill affects so far. i must admit it is not very nice to see blood in yuor uriner let nalone clots  I must admit I do try to conceal the problem from my wife as I know she will worry terribly about it and insist i go get checked, but at my age ...what the heck!!!!

Hi Guys,

I have been on to the same problem for almost 2-3 years. Hot burning sensation with full of blood and really feel exhausted after having sex.

I did all the blood tests, ultrasound & CT scan nothing really helped my doctors.  The worst thing about my doctors they idiots never noticed my hemoglobin level which was going towards mild anemia (meaning it was low).

Your hemoglobin levels are actually the amount of red blood cells carrying oxygen in your blood. Guys go and have a check on this very very important. If you find this low range definitely you need to correct this first and the blood in urine or sperm is actually a warning sign from God that your blood is getting very thin which eventually make the entire body of yours to go down.

For instant cure on securing your body's remaining blood, please start taking vitamin k 100mcg daily. Do not exceed and no need of taking a lower dosage as 100mcg is the minimum body requirement.

Wish you all the best and have a great healthy life.
