This has been an issue for me for many years. I used to think it was caused by my endometriosis, but after multiple surgeries, including complete hysterectomy, this problem remained. I've had several bouts of diverticulitis and am now looking forward to having resection surgery in July. My surgeon shed some light on what may be happening. I have a longer than normal colon, which causes extra sigmoid colon, which kinks around where it can. My theory is that when it is kinking too much (usually in my case extra gas or soft stool), it almost twists and causes that extreme pain-fainting. So, since I'm having that whole section removed, I'm hoping that will also alleviate the problem.

For those who have lactose intolerance, beware of the versatile substitutes for dairy-based food. It would make one think that you are not lactose intolerant because some of the so-called dairy food that does not cause lactose intolerance symptoms is actually produced with substitutes. I like to call it 'fake' milk. It is my experience when I take milk tea from different cafes.

I’ve noticed that when I come in contact with fungus/mold or mildew and spores from these accidentally enter my nose if I don’t wear a mask, hrs after I feel that I’m going to pass out, so have to get to the couch or bed, I start sweating in the groin area, and it can trigger a need to pee and/or defficate. After lying down for a while, i am much better and am able to carry on with my life.

I’ve been having the same problem since probably age 7. Colonoscopies and various other diagnostic testing. INS supposedly. I’d REALLY like to figure out what’s wrong with me.

Michelle, how are you? Does this happen when you are eating healthy? Lots of salads and raw veggies?

I have the same issue, I had one last night.... I call them My Spells.... anyway... last night was the worse ever. Broke out in a sweat, super hot, have to take off my clothes, need a drink of water, and I have to lay on the bathroom floor until it is finally done. I think it continues until my bowels are cleaned out. I have had these attacks since I was about 30 and I am 73 now. In my own self diagnosis, I found a old medical book... I mean a OLD book but yet it described my condition exactly... in that book it said it was gall stones that have rolled over the bile duct and is blocking it, sending all that poisony stuff back thru your body which is where the pain is coming from. I have no idea if it is true but thats what it said... it said once the stones move away from blocking the bile duct then the pain goes away etc. Theimmediate cure for it was rather funny... it said if you stand on your head you will cause the stones to roll away from the bile duct...... well standing on my head is not going to happen, but yet the it makes sense.... maybe trying to lay on the bathroom floor with your legs elevated up onto the stool or bathtub might cause the stones to move if that is what the issue is.... but like I said this was a old old medical book from many years ago..but who knows... but I do know that last night was the worse attack I have ever had and I thought I was dying....

Hey I have the same problem but the only thing I found that will keep it from happening is take 2 chocolate laxitives every other day to keep you regular. Because if you are only doing number 2 every 3 to 4 days that is a problem
