What causes broken blood vessels in the foot and ankle area and what can I do to prevent it from getting worse? I saw a Dr. about this condition approx 2 years ago and he said this was common in Hispanic females. Said there was nothing to worry about Is this true? Well unfortunately it is not likely that you will find a way to improve this condition because it is always spreading and getting worse and more and more visible. If you wish to do something about it you can undergo laser treatment but you should be aware that this is not covered by the insurance company and the treatment is not cheap at all.
As far as I know this condition is hereditary in most of the cases and by years it is getting worse. And after the pregnancy it is really spreading and getting even painful. My mother is using some kind of creams but she is considering laser treatment. I hope that you will avoid this.
