I am 48. I stopped birth control two months ago. I finished my period two weeks ago. After 2 days of heavier bleeding and 4 days regular bleeding I have been spotting every day either brown or pink. Directly after period thick brown and now light alternating brown or pink. Is this a symptom of perimenapause? I do at times have slight pain in lower left ovary location. Could I have a medical problem? My doctor said he didn't feel anything at exam three months ago.
