brown discharge on implanon

Hey guys! I got my implant put in my arm in May 2012. I got periods twice a month, usually my period would skip a month. This October, I started dating my boyfriend..after having sex, I didn't have my period until this January, and I had the worst cramps; Like someone sticking a knife down on your bladder, then I noticed that the blood was brown but the next day..it was black with clumps. Then I just got the same like a week later..

 

I was wondering is it okay..for you to bleed black/brown with clumps/heavy!

I know I am not pregnant cuz I took 3 prego tests and the hospital did blood work on me :

I'm the exact same... Almost four months for me so far.
Any one else having really stringy? Yuck

I've had my implanon in for about a year and four months now. After a month or so of having it, I stopped having my period. I haven't had it since. But just this morning, January 22, 2014. I had a fairly good amount of brown discharge. Out of curiosity I went ahead and took a look down there.. Sure enough. It was all over down there. I recently had a bladder infection that previous week. My boyfriend and I have been together for seven months. We are sexually active, and just recentlly he started to finish in me. I don't want to tell him whats going one because I don't want to worry him. But it's hard because I get so worried myself. I am really looking for some answers so if anyone has any clue what is going on with my body, I would love to hear your advice! Thank you so much.

Im 17 and i got in implanon in on jan of 2013... I have had a constant period. And the doctors said it was very unlikely to get pregnant. I did get pregnant in Aug of 2013 but lost her in December they refuse to take it out because they want to prove to me it works. Im afraid becausee i have had a few miscarroage scares..

I'm in my 5th year with implanon. The first 2 I had no periods at all, but during the third I had a stressful breakup which caused light bleeding (I panicked thinking I was pregnant but the doctor laughed and said it was super unlikely, I could buy a test if I was worried but it was probably brought on by stress.

Then nothing for a year or so, despite being very sexually active- but in the last year I've been with a new partner and have had almost regular (not quite though) bleeding and/or brown blood/discharge.

This may sound soppy, but I swear it is because I am in a strong relationship and of a good age (27) and my biology is gearing towards children...I dunno! But with all the sex I was having before, living the single dream, I never had this...

I searched today because I'm currently spotting, but I've had no blood at all, only the deep brown stuff. I'm assuming it's just old bits of blood/lining that take awhile to exit as I don't actually menstruate anymore...?

You might consider condoms then, doubled with the implant, you're very unlikely to concieve

I got implanon inserted 2 weeks ago.  Now I have started spotting dark brown (enough that I put in a lite tampon).  this is about a week earlier than when my period is due.

I know irregularity is an expectd s/e but, I hope this brown spotting isn't going to be persistent.  Only time will tell, i guess :/

im on my third implant and never had any problems ive also had no periods. but this month ive seen the brow/red discharge which only cam eon after sex then stopped after a few days but then started agin after sex again! is odd been to docs said this is normal but to keep an eye on it i dnt feel it is tho.

I've had implanon for 2 yrs (started August 2012). I just had my first period about 3 weeks ago (mostly light brown discharge, as you all described). It lasted about 7 days, like a normal period. Well, it's been a week and half since that period ended, and now I'm started to get a tiny bit of that discharge again...

Are you pregnant or was you when you was on the rod cause I'm 13 and I had sex and that's happen to me im so scared please help

ive had implanon for 4 months and now im getting a brown wattery type discharge and it keeps happening should i get checked out

I got mine put in around September 12 I think sometime in September for sure since then I would bleed for like 2 months but also know I'm getting my normal period back but uI get this pinkish brown mucus discharge had it for like 3 months know

I got my implanon about 2months ago, my last period lasted 12 days and now I am due again but have brown discharge. My partner is scared that I might be pregnant even tho I have taken 9 tests and been to doctors, but I am also putting on weight :/ I am getting a bit scared now too

im 16 years old, i got the implanon 2 weeks ago i got it implanted while i was still on my period i finished when i was suposed to three days ago i started with a light brow discharge i didnt worry about it i thought it was normal but now it has change colour to a dark brown and its has a thick texture i am sexualy active but ever since my discharge has got worse i have stoped im really worried... i dont feel so werid now that i have read that you guys have had simular problems but what do i do see a doctor? or will it just go away on its own? should I take a pregnancy test
